Tsukime is an Asian-owned seasonal pop-up matcha bar inspired by Japanese tea traditions.

Each drink is handcrafted with intention, using ceremonial-grade matcha and thoughtful, local ingredients.

My name is Grace. For the past 10 years, I’ve been a working mom in tech, but matcha has always been my ritual — a quiet comfort I return to. Growing up, there was always a bottle of cold green tea in my grandma’s fridge — a memory that shaped my relationship with tea early on. Over the years, I’ve traveled across Japan to experience the many forms of matcha, tasting different cultivars, learning regional methods, and deepening my connection to its tradition.

The name Tsukime comes from tsuki (月), meaning moon — a symbol I’ve always felt drawn to. I’ve long been fascinated by birth charts, moon signs, and the quiet rhythm of celestial cycles, much like how I experience tea: soft, cyclical, and deeply grounding.

My menu shifts with the seasons, always honoring the beauty of simplicity, the warmth of tradition, and the calm of the moon.
